This is where I think we’ll finish this season

As you may know I have been critical of the start we’ve made to our season so far, mainly our inability to win our first two home games, I think we’re not far off where I feel we should be.

We’ve won 3 games in a row, which are games I think we should have won so while I think we are not punching above our weight at the moment we will begin to find our level when we start playing more teams who were top 8 finishers last season.

So here are my what I think we should expect from our fixtures based on current squads and will be revised after the January transfer window.

My Prediction Result

Tottenham (a)
Bournemouth (h)

52 pts -5 pts

As you can see, I don’t see us as an all conquering Palace but also not a walkover for the teams around us and below us.

With that in mind I think we should achieve 52 points which should give us a final league place of 9th or 10th based on the last few seasons.¬†That’s hardly an unachievable goal bearing in mind we finished 10th two seasons ago.

Naturally, as we’ve already seen, we’ll drop point I think we should be getting and we’ll win points I think we’ll drop. Ying and yang.

Do you agree? Do you think I am setting the bar too high or too low? Let me know in the comments below.
